  • Weather

    Here in east central Illinois, so far this winter we've had rain, freezing rain, snow, sleet, ice storms, high winds, flooding, and a temperature drop of about 50 degrees in just a few hours.  My kitchen flooded, I've had an infestation of ants, and my truck quit.  Today the forecast is for "freezing fog".  I don't think I've ever even HEARD of freezing fog before.  I can't wait till Obama gets elected, so that he can take care of some of this crazy weather and the economy.

  • Actually, you're not far from the truth. If Obama will end the military's damned chemtrail and weather manipulation schemes ..... at least he can ask, Bush certainly wants it. Like we're having a wind and rain storm, and you can see the clouds blow by, but the left over chemtrails linger with the aluminum, barium, and other particles. Yes its not vaccines causing autism to go from one in 10000 to 150, it's the metallic particles from chemtrails that they're spraying all the time. But at least the military can have better radar with all those metallic particles in the air that come down slowly when it rains.

    Once when visiting Reno, they showed me some frozen fog on the trees .... they said the technical term the weather bureau and TV news was using was 'pogonip' based on an Indian (native American) word.

  • @Kevin72 - You seem obsessed with chemtrails, Kevin (which I don't really understand), but you do raise an interesting point.  I wonder if you saw 60 Minutes tonight?  Aside from the usual tales of political corruption, there was a story about the mysterious death/disappearance of billions of bees recently.  Apparently it's happening not only nationwide but internationally, and no one yet knows why.  It may be related to the spraying of a new type of insecticide that is made from or related to nicotine. Of course without bees we can kiss most of our food sources goodbye.

    Yes in fact I am obsessed with chemtrails. I see them being formed all day, and they change the would be completely blue sky to an expanding lingering cloud of barium and aluminum particles, and those are just the chemicals researchers can prove (because the government won't say what they're poisoning us with). To my surprise, the chemtrails were WORSE when I tripped to Reno last weekend. No, all those chemtrails were not airplanes leaving out of the puny Reno airport, regular contrails dissipate after a short time. There was one wide streak in the sky that lingered that could be seen even after sunset. It might be too cloudy in the Midwest for you to see them being formed behind the clouds, or you might not be targeted, but we get it every day. And yes I believe that the aluminum and barium particles etc might be responsible for autism going from one in 10,000 to one in 150 .... autism isn't a mutation that mother nature thinks will help humanity's survival. When I ride on my motorbike, the rain actually tastes metallic from the particles coming down .... now I wear a protective mouthmask in the rain when I motorbike so I don't have to ingest the particles, even though the protective mask gets all wet.

  • hahahaha,,, the government will give no explination for laying chemtrails.  its not their nature to take the blame for anything,,, look at the smoking mess they started to cover up damage they did with above ground nuclear tests in the 50s,,,, hahahahahahaha.

    i really know nothing about chemtrails,,, planes avoid flying over my area,, so,,, well,,, i just dont notice them.

    why would they?  maybe to accelerate the dumbing down of america,,, that would be my best guess.  they do want you dumber,,, you know that dont you???  its in their best interests,,, if they fail,,, they run the risk of being found out.

    here,, ill give you an example,,, mexico,,,,  total control of the people,,,but they started a long long time ago,,, well,,, from day one,,,,  the us is just figuring out mexico has something there.

    and i dont know about obama anymore,,, i was fixing to call him a winner,,, but the game is changing,,,, that weird guy,,, farrakan,,, or whatever his name is,,, is endorsing obama,,, hahahahahahahaha

    obama just about successfully downplayed his role as a muslim,,, then along comes this guy,,,,  that will take away  points,,, lots of points,,,

    what were the odds wed come up with the bunch of losers we have a choice between???   hahahahahaha

  • @Isismoon - ants know all,,, i went to gauge an oil tank in north texas,,, it was kinda empty and hard to read the tape,,, and was rather big,,, so it took a minute to let the tape down and reel it back up,,, and it took a couple of tries as i had to guess at first to put the water sensing compound on the tape,,,

    gas was boiling out of it pretty fast,,, and i got a pretty good whiff of it,,, actually several.

    at the bottom of the stairs when i was done, i found a red ant bed where i stopped and chatted with them,,,  i found they knew the meaning of life and any other subject known or unknown,,,  i should have taken notes,,, but i didnt,,, and when the gas wore off,,, i completely forgot everything they told me.

    i was more careful the next time i had to gauge that tank,,,  so i never had the opportunity to chat with them again.

  • I saw Obama speak and I'm pretty sure he mentioned putting an end to excess frozen fog that has gone unchecked since the beginning of the Bush administration.

  • Freezing Fog and Thunder Snow.  We had that here last year.The first question, of course, is what is it?

    My blog post when it happened. I actually received an e-mail from the weatherman mentioned in the post. He seemed a little offended that I didn't take it more seriously. To be honest, compared to sleet and freezing rain, it wasn't that big of a deal.

  • I never heard an actual person who believed that autism was caused by vaccinations.  I thought that was one of those urban myths that got batted about as "some people think" but nobody really does.

  • And has anyone noticed that this year there seems to be a new crop of obsessive, conspiracy laden nuts sprouting willy nilly all over Xanga? I thought it was just me, but now I see that it's all the work of our government spraying God knows what kind of chemicals so that we all vote for Obama, McCain, Hillary, Huckabee, the Lone Ranger, buy into their spin of the JFK assination, read their lips and BELIEVE that there will be no new taxes, Hillary has thick ankles and may be bi.,etc., etc., etc. please... isn't the election over yet??????

  • John- I just read your pet peeve comment.  I can't say I'm with you on the the Less/fewer grammar point.  For me, that falls under the farther/further debate under picky grammar, but I know what you mean.  If ever a grammar point enraged me, it is the 'me/I' issue.  The Doors  "....till the stars fall from the sky for you and I" grrrrrr.

    I heard a commercial for Obama on Rush Limbaugh's show.  The commercial starred Miss Teen USA South Carolina.  US Americans for Hope...with a bunch of circular gibberish about hope (without which we are hopeless) and the future (which is not the past, or the present such as therefore).  Funny stuff.

  • @Eccentrique - The government gives no explanations. But they are there all the time. And sometimes just disappear for a while for no reason.

    I've heard it suggested that there is a link between the metallic particles and radar. I've heard that it is to dumb us down so that we come docile and not protest the war and shredding of our constitution and so we won't protest if they do something like attack Iran and declare martial law and suspend the election. I've heard that the low-frequency weapons could be used on us in conjunction with the metallics inside of us. Certainly it would up the level of autism, alzheimers, dementia. If the government would come clean, then I wouldn't have to think the worst. The one person with guts who did try to get an explanation, one Dennis Kucinich circa 2002 or so, was told to shut up and I don't know whatever happened to his investigation, but no one has dared to inquire since.
