i was just thinking today about how easy it is for privileged people to think "tough luck" when it comes to underprivileged. This cartoon says it all.
ah, I like that shirt very much. It does a great job of depicting, in simple terms, the way things are. Though of course there are no absolutes, and very few things are actually black and white - most things exist in some degree of grayness and justice cannot be completely excluded from that. But yes, I would wear that shirt.
I am sorry for the sad occasion of your trip, but hope it is a safe one.

RYC: I thought I left a comment here last week but it's not showing in my comment tracker so I must have sent it to poor old Pluto instead of our xanga universe.
Some sad thoughts ... the funeral you are attending (unless it is someone whose grave you are looking to dance on!) ... the fact the "group" has dissipated into the winds (your comment at mybaddy) ... the fact your kind comment regarding John will not likely be appreciated to the extent it deserves, at the moment anyways. He is dealing with various problems, but that's all I can say at this time. I will certainly pass your comment along, and will post when I can say more about it.

btw, if blonde apocalypse is going to the funeral that YOU are attending, it might just brighten the day a bit. (sorry, just trying to lighten the mood)

Hey Funerals can be fun........Although I cant upload a 15 minute video to xanga we threw a party for my brother.........I tell ya what music, food, drinks, silent auctions, you name it. We had a blast. We were still sad but ate drank and were merry!
